ASUS announced the Good news for their ZenFone users. After the ZenFones hits the Indian market, ASUS releases many firmware updates with the changes in their ZENUI. Now ASUS Philippines has officially announced that they are rolling out the OTA KitKat update for the ZenFone 4, 5 and 6.
ASUS is frequently updating their firmware to give the best experience for their users. Notably in August, ASUS also announced a firmware update (1.17.40.16) for the ZenFone 5 and ZenFone 6 smartphones. The new firmware update, majorly brings USB OTG (on-the-go) support to ZenFone 5 and ZenFone 6, while the ZenFone 4 already supports the function. Now thsi time its the Kitkat Firmware update.The KitKat update delivers new functionality to the already awesome devices, including a Do Not Disturb mode, Reply via Call-in SIM card (system will auto select the right phone number via the call), as well as full dual-standby with two SIMs.
The update is currently live in China and Taiwan, but will also hit more countries in Asia in the coming days.The update is Big in size, so make sure you’re on Wi-Fi before downloading it !
