The “Flagship Killer” smartphone of 2014 i.e. OnePlus will for the first time on Tuesday offer One smartphone without any invites in India.
The company announced the open sale to celebrate the completion of 10 weeks of OnePlus in India. The first open sale for the OnePlus One smartphone in India will kick off at 10 am IST on Tuesday via Amazon India. An open sale for the One smartphone means that consumers will not require any invite to purchase the handset during the sale.
In a statement, Amazon India said, “The sale would be for limited quantity which is expected to stock out quickly given the high demand for the phone.” To refresh, OnePlus had launched its flagship One smartphone in India at Rs. 21,999 for the 64GB version (Sandstone Black).

Yet company has not revealed how many units will be sale in this open sale; though it suggest that it will be sale without invite till the stock ends.The Company has similarly offered the same during Christmas and Black Friday in some countries. Apparently,the company has claimed that it sold close to 1 million OnePlus One smartphones by the end of 2014 since the smartphone’s launch in April last year.
Looking at the specification of the phone sports a 5.5-inch IPS LCD display with a 1080×1920 pixel resolution and offers a pixel density of 401ppi. The display boasts Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It comes with 3GB of RAM and is powered by the quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 clocked at 2.5GHz with Adreno 330 GPU. Unfortunately, the OnePlus One does not support expandable storage.
The One sports a 13-megapixel rear IMX214 sensor with six lenses and f/2.0 aperture that boasts quick shutter speed of only 0.3-seconds, according to OnePlus. It also comes with a 5-megapixel front-facing camera.
Connectivity options on the OnePlus One include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.0, and NFC functionality. It features a 3100 mAh non-removable battery.
Though their are some during the launch period of the smartphone.but later they are fixed in the OTA updates. OnePlus also launching their own custom ROM named OxygenOS. More details will be announced by the firm on February 12.
