Xiaomi starts rolling out MIUI 7 OTA update to Mi 4

One of the leading Chinese mobile manufacturing company Xiaomi has already started to roll out its MIUI 7 OTA update to its current flagship device Mi 4. Earlier company has announced that the MIUI 7 roll-out will begin from 27 October. But it looks like it has already started rolling out ahead of date announced by company.
Xiaomi has launched its new MIUI 7 beta version for Beta-supported Mi devices like Redmi 1S, Redmi 2, Mi 3, Mi 4, Mi 4i, Redmi note, and Redmi note 4G in August this year. Later on company announced that the global stable version will start to roll out from 27 October.

MIUI 7 OTA update file for mi 4 is 666 MB in size, and comes with Baseband Version MPSS.DI.3.0-8698a4d and build number KTU84P. Unfortunately, the device does not get the lollipop upgrade, it remains on android Kitkat. The company has already released a list of devices to get MIUI 7 and other devices may be added to the list at a later date according to the company.The Mi Note, Mi 4, Mi 3, Redmi 2, Redmi 1S, Redmi Note 4G and the Mi Pad tablet are the devices which will get MIUI 7 update. Only the international versions of above devices will get the update. In China, Mi 4, Mi 3, Mi 4c, Mi 4i, Mi 2 / 2S, Mi Note, Mi Note Pro, Redmi Note 4G, Redmi 2, Redmi Note 2, Mi Pad and Redmi 1S W will get the MIUI 7 update.

The highlighting features of the new MIUI 7 are 30% Faster system response,10% longer battery life,5 new pre-installed themes, 5 different text sizes ranging from S to XXL, Baby album, MUSE, weather animation, child mode, showtime and many others.
